About the Author
Teresa R. Funke is the author of Remember Wake, a novel based on a true
story from WWII. She has a degree in history and has worked as a researcher
for PBS and several museums. She has published dozens of articles, written
a history column, and had short stories and essays appear in numerous
magazines and anthologies. She is currently at work on the nonfiction
book We Can Do It: American Women's Stories from World War II
and a second novel. Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, she now lives
with her husband and family in Colorado.
